I substituted today for a 4th grade class.  I enjoy this age group a lot.  They are still young enough that they're cute and mostly innocent, but old enough that they know how to behave.  Once you get much older than this, they become a heck of a pain to try to control.   I've had classes I could only just barely keep from burning the school down
