Definitely set up a Google Adwords campaign when you get the site up -- it's easy, can bring a lot of traffic (we use it for the dojo), and you have complete control over how much you pay for the ads.

Yeah, I've been doing a lot of research for her, apparently she has a friend in the chamber of commerce out here who knows a LOT about it and how to make it all work to it's optimum.
