emmagrant01 has a post explaining how to make the cross-posting to Facebook/Twitter more difficult. It doesn't prevent cross-posting completely. Those who choose to view their comments in their own journal style will still be able to cross-post

And people who set cross-posting as their default will still automatically cross-post (replies to non-flocked entries) regardless. The script affects only the visibility of the buttons, not the functionality.

Yep. That sucks. But at least this script makes it more difficult for people to x-post when the entry is f-locked, which IMO is the most dangerous possibility.
