I know exactly what you mean. We have BEAUTIFUL Summers in Minneapolis with moderate temps and deep blue skies most of the time. It's the hell of January's minus 20 temps that makes me need to leave every Spring and go to Mexico to remind myslef that things will indeed improve.

For what it's worth, we are having the same problem with bunnies this year. They have eaten all the strawberries and managed to eat most of the beans except the ones we planted in a raised pot on the deck.
