Doing the touristy thing- Sydney Aquarium, Hurricanes, Imax

Since we're right on the cusp of our big move to SG, Erica realised that there's still a few places yet of which she's always wanted to visit but just never got around to. One of these is the Sydney Aquarium, and the other is Canberra. The difference between the both of them is that one is fun, and the other well.... kinda sucks :) Anyway, we've ( Read more... )

I didn't quite like wild ocean though or perhaps it came out differently in 3D. Nothing much was said about the sardin run which from my knowledge is actually quite magnificent.

I think they talked enough about the Sardine run for a 40min or so movie. I guess I was more so interested in the footage than the actual doco about the Sardine migration.

Part of the reason we thought it was so cool was because we saw everything that was going on in real life from above the water. That really had a big part to play in it. And of course, I just love Imax 3D no matter what is playing :) I just can't believe how incredible the 3D effect is! Do they have Imax 3D in SG?

Unfortunately Singaporean restaurants don't understand the meaning of doing your steak blue and will always raise their eyebrows when you say you want it blue. Maybe you can educate them when you guys come back! :)

Hopefully! I really really really enjoy my blue steaks!!! But if that's the case then I'll just have to be content with rare. Hopefully the steak places like Mortons will understand what blue is :)

I've never had blue steak, was going to try it at Kelly's at Bondi but chickened out haha.
I have not been to the aqaurium in sooo long, haven't been to the new wildlife park next door either.

Imax makes me sick. I watched this really stupid aviation thing there and it was horrible

You should :) I remember I first tried a blue steak because whenever I used to eat Beef Tataki, it was just never enough. Then I realised that a blue steak is kinda like a never ending piece of beef Tataki and that's how I ended up falling in love with blue... :)

Thanks :) I'm thinking about it when we move back to Singapore. Try to take some nice artsy or urban shots in B&W and frame them up around the room :)
