...This is the Prontera fields, isn't it? Or is it near Payon? Charon's gonna be so mad if I went that far...
[ He shuffles a foot and kicks at one of the pickies before he glares up at the redhead. ]
You don't know anything! How are people ever gonna get stronger if they don't fight monsters?

[His kick comes too close to Wheat and he joins the other two in attempting to attack the young knight, leaving only Pumpernickle looking on warily.]
Fighting monsters to get stronger? B-but you don't have to do that! Fight's bad!

[ The young swordsman groans. ]
That could be anywhere!
[ He starts kicking at the three pickies. ]
Of course! Everyone has to fight to learn and to get skilled enough to rise in ranks! And... and... if you train really hard, then you can take the test to ascend to a higher class! I want to be a knight more than anything...

[The pickies try to dodge his kicks, still attempting to get a hit in on him.]
But... what ranks?! What classes are you talking about?! Like an Advanced Class?

[ He winces from the pecking and tries to lift up his sword again. ]
You really dunno anything, do you? Tutu wants to a Priestess, Mytho wants to be a Crusader, Rue wants to be a Dancer, and I'll be a Knight! And in the far future, I'm gonna be a Lord Knight!
[ He accents that by throwing the blade down at the pickies again. ]

B-but this isn't where you're from! It's this... castle somewhere. And there's lots of people from lots of places! But you do sound a lot like Fakir. Hmph... That sounds like Rue, too...
[The latest sword swing has now managed to send all four pickies after him.]

[ He looks about in puzzlement. ]
But this... I thought it was... did I get warped somewhere?
[ He starts shunking the sword at the pickies randomly, sparing a shocked glance in her direction. ]
How'd you know---[ pant ] my name!?

Well, um, there are lots of doubles of people here and stuff! And I've seen a lot of people that look like you named Fakir. There's one where I come from and he's not a nice person at all.
[Rye is hit by one of the swings, but he keeps attacking with the rest of them.]
Heeey, stop it!

[ He pales, as the idea of 'doubles' finally sinks in. ]
I-If there's doubles you better stay away from them! It's gotta be DOPPELGANGER!
[ He scowls down at the birds, but doesn't really relent in attacking them. ]
I can't stop 'til they're defeated!

[She frowns. He really had to be from the same world as that assassin.
The pickies don't relent in their attack, either. Ahiru seems like she's on the verge of panicking.]
Why not?! I already told you they're my friends! You don't have to hurt them!
[She tries to make a grab for his arms to stop his sword. With as much of a jerk as he was being, he was definitely a Fakir. It was strange, though. Two Fakirs from one world? Things were weird, but not that weird. But this one was obviously a lot younger. Something didn't add up here.]

[ He stumbles back when she grabs his arm. ]
What are you doing?! Just 'cause you like them doesn't mean they aren't monsters!

[She stares at him intently, still frowning. He was really acting like Fakir, especially when she first knew him. And she couldn't think of many Fakirs she had met here that still acted like that. The only one that came to mind was that assassin from the same world. But there was no way there were two of him. And he definitely wasn't this young!]
Y-you said you were gonna be a knight, right? Knights are supposed to protect people and things and stuff!

They're classified as monsters! If you're not from Rune Midgard, don't act like you know things that you don't!
[ He blinks at the comment about being a knight and puffs his chest out. ]
I have to protect people from monsters and from... from bad wizards and other nasty people!

[She seems a bit curious at his response.]
B-bad wizards? Like what kind of bad wizards?

Of course they're monsters! They look exactly the same as they do in my world!
[ His expression darkens. ]
Drosselmeyer. The worst high wizard that ever existed! He... killed my--
[ He trails off briefly, struggle dying off. ]
He's a really powerful wizard. And he hurts people and destroyed half of Geffen city! And... if I become a Lord Knight, I can join the Pronterean Knights and protect people from bad wizards like him and other nasty people!
