[Just outside the forest, four pickies can be seen hopping around cheerfully looking for food. Were someone to not get distracted by the small, strange birds, they might notice that on one side of a nearby tree there is a girl sitting.
Ahiru leans against it sadly. Nothing had changed. Not Mytho, not Fakir, not her feelings. She had been feeling so depressed for so long that she was on the verge of just calling it all quits. In fact, she wasn't quite sure why she hadn't just thrown off her pendant and gone to live at the lake. Were things always going to be like this?]
