Lot Makeover: Maxis's Just Right 2BR 1BT
As I've said, I'm no master builder, so I decided to try using Maxis-made houses as shells to help me with basic architecture. Unfortunately, when I opened this house (cruelly, inaccurately labeled "just right"), I was confronted by the sight of sheer hideousness, and I set myself to a lot makeover instead.

Lot Picspam: Meadows Beyond
I'm back! Not really. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up; Sims 2 is a really time/labor-intensive game (at least, if you post screenshots) and I make no guarantees about timing.

i hate video games
I'm still not sure how my game ran back in 2012 when I originally got it, but I do recall being incredibly patient about the many (many, many) loading screens, which seemed to take several minutes per lot. That said, I don't remember lag of any kind when actually playing lots themselves, and the situation seems roughly switched now-- my lots load ( Read more... ) -
