Ohhh, nice new terrain and also love those bridges. BTW,i noticed those large slopes, for eliminating those killersslopes on the streets you might want to try a mod for SC4,it`s called a slopemod and was once made so you can drag networks (streets,rails...) with realistic slops. As a Simcity-Player,i couldn`t live without this mod anymore and also when creating terrains for Sims 2. A little link for killing slopes:
I just put lots near the steep slopes to smooth them, like I explained for the bridge. It's nice to know that this mod exists, though, and I bookmarked it for later, so thank you!

Thanks for "white-listing" me.I wonder if it is also possible to place narrow lots on light slopes so the road will still be sloped in lot view but the lot will be planed. For example like those narrow victorian houses standing on slopes as in San Francisco.Always wanted to do something like that but the lot is always leveling the street in frnt of the lot.I was sure i saw this once before but maybe i`m just dreaming...
That would be great to be able to have a Sims Frisco! I believe you're dreaming, though. I only remember a mod on MTS that lets you place lots on very step terrain, but I think they still leveled the road. I do have another idea, though! You could place a lot that is only one tile wide, then expand it with Mootilda's lot adjuster and make sure that the option for even lot edges is unchecked and it will take the neighbourhood's terrain instead. I'm not sure if that would work with sloped roads as so far I have only used that way to expand coast lots into the ocean, but you should try that.
Thanks for this! I will definitely use it and YOUR bridge versions. More realistic. I also like that you have different levels in the hood, it'll make for killer photos once the hood is densely populated. I don't play, but I like shooting photos.
Oh and I think I will pick up the book Ritaxis wrote about. Sounds very interesting!
Yes, you have a great view over the whole city from the top level. :) It fits with the administration oversseing everyone in my world. Among others I will place the Folk Palace there that was already featured in my other neighbourhood (still an empty shell unfortunately).
It's a great boiok if you can get past the first few pages.
What I've got planned is to do the two cities identically as downtowns to a main neighborhood set up as a suburb of the City and the City, but have different lots be playable in each version. I'll be thinking about it for a while before I do it. One of the things I need to do before then is to make a new font that is not based on the existing Simlish fonts, because one of the cities uses a version of Cyrillic and one uses a version of Roman. Yesterday I was thinking about calling it Methodian Simlish (after Methodius, the guy who co-invented Cyrillic writing), but I don't know if it would actually look like Cyrillic.
