Spirals!

Ever notice how many spirals there are around you? The twist of proteins, twist-off bottle caps, galaxies, DNA, Yin/Yang, rope, water going down the drain, LPs, springs, screws, the orbit of the planets... I've been fascinated by them lately.

Tornadoes, Slinky's, coiled up snakes, notebook bindings, and wire whisks...

What about spirals have you discovered so fascinating as of late? Tell me, I want to know.

wow, I guess I really never expected anyone to have an interest in this. I have a reputation for thinking too much and boring those within earshot of me to tears, LOL. but here it goes ( ... )

Please know I am not ignoring your response. You have given me much to contemplate before I reply. I am taken with how fascinated you are with spirals.

Also, I have a lot going on here at the present which has been affecting my ability to reply to others' posts with the attention they deserve.

Just wanted you to know I've not forgotten.

Bree,
Don't worry about it - glad you're hanging in there :-)
I remembered something else recently related to spirals. I don't know if I mentioned it before. This Winter I took a "Beginning Reiki" workshop - it's definitely something I find myself drawn to both as a recipient and as a practice. Anyway, I just remembered that durring the attunements the power symbol that was drawn on my palms was a spiral!

What's the "Art of Living" interest on your list?

Hi Brenda,

The Art of Living is a week-long course I took here at UCSC. It's best explained here: http://www.lifepositive.com/spirit/new-age-catalysts/ravishankar/art-of-loving.asp Though I feel everyone takes away from the course whatever they are open to receive.

It was a great experience! I would recommend it to anyone!

Actually, I took the course last summer with some youth from YLTP. I wasn't sure if you were referring to the organization or just the art of living life in general so I just had to ask. I'm looking forward to the YLTP youth returning this summer. The energy there is just so immense it's awesome.
