I realised a while back that I had never actually just walked round the Tate Modern. I actually Googled every piece you mentioned, just out of curiosity. I may not be the LAST person in the world you'd want to ask about modern art, but I'm in the neighborhood. I respect people who can look at that stuff and see more than 10 minutes worth of work. That big peice by Matisse absolutely looks like soemthing my 6-year old might bring home, and I can't tell the difference. I flat out don't get most art. Expressionism I can handle, and being near Chicago I have access to a nice collection of it, but most other art is competley lost on me. I have looked through your portfolio and maybe one piece in 5 stands out as something I like, though I couldn't tell you why I like it. "Oooh, pretty colors!" is about the best you'd get out of me. I avoid art museums because I feel like an idiot most of the time
