Well, a lot of times I pick books based on rec's from other ppl who's interests I share...

Or, I go w/ a genre and/or author I know I like.

I also do a lot of searching and reading reviews on Amazon.com.

And then sometimes a book just catches my eye, I read the back cover, and have to have it!
