I've been bored lately, so I discovered a new way of amusing myself. Apply at a shitload of places, go to interviews, speak nothing but bullshit and see if they hire me. I work at Hollister now. Not my number one choice, but it's money, and the guys aren't too bad to look at.

i was just thinking that the other day, when sparta played here to like ten people at some piece of shit, hole in the wall,
whilst the mars volta is selling out arenas with ticket prices so high you'd think the rolling stones were on the bill.

for the longest time i thought sparta got the shitty members, boy, was i wrong.

Yeah, I was fortunate enough to record under Mike Major who is now a friend of mine, he produced most of At the Drive-In's early work and continues to produce Sparta... and of course the 'why did ATDI break up?' discussion came about, and you just wouldn't believe how dickish Cedric and Omar were to Jim Ward.

But yeah, if good music is flailing about then those two take the cake. But if good music is, well, good music, then Sparta rapes them thirty ways from Sunday.
