You don't get to be completely irresponsible. Just like me you didn't get that luxury as a child and you're missing it now that you realize there isn't going to be a "break" between that childhood and adult responsibility.
Get a card. But don't go overboard.
Get a great job, and make a plan to pay off your debts so you don't end up like my sister.
Crutches can be many things, alcohol is only one of the options. Trust me, I know.
I've sobered up a little bit. I'm not in as deep as I think I am... yet.
I'm not sure if I'll even get approved for the credit card but we'll see here in a few days. I'm nervous to think that my credit might already be bad. What a world, huh?
Having no credit is about equal to having bad credit. My first credit card I got when I was 22 and it was for a lousy $500. But it built and built and now supposedly I have great credit. *shrug* Credit scoring annoys me to no end.
Damn sorry to hear that. Also sorry I missed you while you were down! I tried to call but I kept getting weird errors, did you get a new phone? I wouldnt mind a phone call with an update on all this fucked up shit that seems to have gone on.
Yeah, I would've liked to have seen you as well. I think my phone's just messed up. I don't treat my belongings very well... especially when they're free.
I did get a new number recently though, and you'll be hearing from it and me soon.
