Version conflicts
I updated FireBug this morning. GMail immediately started telling me that FireBug is known to cause performance problems with GMail, and offered instructions for how to disable FireBug for GMail. Those instructions are completely wrong. -
Wikileaks
Wikileaks has the potential to be (and already has been) a very useful check against assorted forms of corruption. They're seriously endangering their own ability to do that, though, with that stupid diplomatic cable stunt. -
Clueless recruiters
My last three years of programming experience is in VB.Net, and I have around two years of scattered Java before that. Switching to C# really won't be enough of a change to even be worth mentioning.
Hopefully he will remember to pass on to the actual developers that I have Java experience, too. -

Taylor Swift frequently seems to sound like Vanessa Carlton. Unfortunately, that means I have the same reaction to Taylor Swift's music as to Vanessa Carlton's last album: Where the hell did the piano go?!?! -

With as popular as frameless glasses have gotten lately, only a couple years after god-awful heavy black plastic frames were all the rage, when do we get to the logical next step?
