Wikileaks has the potential to be (and already has been) a very useful check against assorted forms of corruption. They're seriously endangering their own ability to do that, though, with that stupid diplomatic cable stunt.

I'm actually quite disappointed in PayPal et al. for closing down avenues toward WikiLeaks. They've done so with only accusations from the government that what the website is engaged in is illegal; the actions of WikiLeaks has not been established. You would think the other sites would wait until there was at least an indictment from a grand jury.

Assange's arrest warrant does not count, as alleged sexual assault does not compromise WikiLeaks' ability to disseminate information.
