Closely examine loans for Kelsey, in her name, that you could then help her pay back. These may have better terms than you using retirement money or putting essentials on the credit card. That FAFSA a bitch but yes, thank God they don't consider retirement accounts or equity or I never would have been able to go to graduate school.

(I laughed about the wincing when you wrote a check for 7k... you DO NOT want to know how much it cost to re-do our roof this summer. Talk about painful!) <3
