Helped friend out today, gave a ride to the hospital for surgery to get rid of a cyst on a gland in her abdomen. Home to try to get some work done, and the world is falling apart there - my other friend is the only one in and she's standing there shouting for help and no one is getting back to her. To be honest, javelin is pretty high impact as well. I did the event in high school, a lot of pressure will be put on one leg while throwing, so...

Yeah. I have to call her surgeon and get his approval, even tho he hasn't seen her in months and months. She's hurting and she bitches about hating it but refuses to consider quitting - this is 6 days a week, every day after school until 4:30, and Saturday 9-11, and it's impacting her work already, and I'm afraid it is going to impact her schoolwork, and given she wants to get into medical school she better wise up...but she doesn't care. 'I'd rather risk hurting myself worse than be bored every day after school, you won't LET ME do anything else so I'm doing this!'.

(ie. I won't let her cheer anymore)

Yeah. We'll see what your surgeon says dude. Then it won't be ALL my fault.
