I just got interviewed by the local paper, Omaha World Herald at http://www.omaha.com about the cancellation of Enterprise. What a surprise to me that was, and she got my number out of http://www.meetup.com . I started an Omaha Sci-Fi Group ( Read more... )

My partner and I were just discussing this very thing the other night. I'm not certain that he was ever as much into the Enterprise show as I was, so I was surprised to hear that he was disappointed to hear that they were canceling the show. Last year, when I was in Los Angeles and he was here living in Omaha, I had TiVo and would "tape" all the episodes. I *loved* it! When I moved here in October, between the move and all that *that* entails, the lose of TiVo because we decided to try cable (we're going back to satellite this summer) and I lost track of the show entirely. Not much of a surprise as now without TiVo I only watch a certain amount of shows. God I miss TiVo! And you know what? I also miss Enterprise! What happened after Archer et al. got the ship that was going to blow us all up and we were no longer enemies with those dudes with the multiple species in their race? You *know* what I'm talking about! Yeah, so I suck at remembering the terminology. I'll work on it when I have more time. . . like when I'm dead.

I saw a few more write ups when it was the last week of the show...you know how much drama and press "final episodes" generate!

I couldn't keep with the show, it bored me. After seeing shows like Farscape and Babylon 5, ST:Voy and Enterprise just bored me. More happened in an episode of Babylon 5 and Farscape than an entire season of Voyager or Enterprise.

Star Trek has just become too stale. They stick to one formula and use it to recycle episodes from previous shows into the newer ones.

DS9 was the darkest trek, but you'd think Voy would be they had no contact with the Federation.

Hey,

I recently opened a Tru Calling message board, in an attempt to save the series from cancellation. The address is http://www.jackisevil.com/

Think you could pass it along?
