Count me a pessimist, but I don't really care if Obama 'won'. (though granted, I had expectred him to get a majority eitherway'.)

What I do care, is what he's going to do now. It's time for him to earn his keep, and I hope my faith in him is not unfounded. The presidency is not something to be won, it's something to be earned.

Frankly, I do not believe in marriage; It's but an outdated concept, long lost it's purpose, yet still remains, a testament on how religion shaped our legal systems. I don't see why love should have to be certified, nor do I see why other benifits are associated with such directly ( Read more... )

1) 1 trillion dollars did not get wiped out. A portion was spent on building stuff that no one wants/can afford, a portion given away carelessly, and another portion simply never existed and may as well have been monopoly money (and a portion is given to overpaid people, but that's an entirely different point ( Read more... )

I know I've not been updating much, but I've a reason! I'm starting work tomorrow and will have relatively less free time.
