Save yourself a lot of hassle, after purchasing the DLC, follow the instructions near the end of the post so you can play without having to use Games for Windows: Live (http://planetfallout.gamespy.com/wiki/The_Pitt_FAQ)
I agree that the bugs in it are annoying but I loved the surprise twist at the end which left me wondering "what on earth do I do??" to stick within my character's morality...
The "morality" thing still bugs me occasionally on "Fallout 3." I mean, sleeping in someone else's bed is evil, as is "stealing" from bad guys, even after they're dead. :)
Had I more time, there are a load of mods I'd love to try out (that one, included). There's one to improve monster A.I., and I think there was a "Robot Master" mod that lets you repair "dead" robots and have them become your minions. I wouldn't mind a floating army of Mr. Gutsys depopulating the countryside for me as I wandered about... :)
I do like this week's FFN. I mean, I understand not wanting to let loose the general supertech (DC would pretty much move post-scarcity if they could use everything they've come across, though they usually have the Watchtower) but this is more supertech versus aliens, and we really don't have either here in the real world.
Also, that lets you have plots where villains capture it and threaten major cities, which is at least traditional.
True. And it's kind of silly to complain about on one hand while singing the praises of comic book logic in the main post. Though having some effect of that sort of thing in a comic book world could be funny in subtle ways. For example, a Greenpeace rally in the Marvel Universe should have at least one sign reading "Stop ocean pollution. Namor will kill us all!" or somesuch.
Enterprise phone

I actually have that phone... unfortunately, it's completely useless as a phone, since the handset isn't shaped so you can put it up to your ear and mouth at the same time. The saucer section is the speaker, and then the bottom of the engineering section is the microphone. So it actually bends in toward your face -- the opposite of how phones are supposed to be shaped.
On the plus side, it does have a option to make the ringer the Red Alert siren...

Hmmm... I wonder if there's a market for things like that which just "ring" for you, acting as a noise-making pass-through to a regular phone? Heck, I'd love one shaped like that little light-up thing on the center of the classic Enterprise helm.
But then again, I own autographed Star Trek french fry boxes, so maybe a different test market is called for before they go into production.

I hope they get a part in the premiere. Maybe the hosts for each venue could choose to either have a trivia-off, or they'd agree to combat with those Vulcan blade-things from the episode, "Amok Time."

The following console commands work wonders if you don't agree with the way things work
player.getav karma (this tells you numerical what your karma)
player.rewardkarma XXX (this lets you add or subtract from your Karma by a set amount)
It should be possible to write a simple scripted mod that alters the value of stealing
