No Heroics looks funny. Judging by the trailer, I don't see how it could ever be shown in America. There are at least a couple costumes in that trailer that DC comics would have a fit over. Well, not so much DC comics as the lawyers of their Warner Brothers overlords.

This is why we need a "watershed," I think, at least for cable. We all should just agree that after X time, adults can watch whatever programs the networks want to show.
Although, if they want to apply the "Mull of Kintyre" test, that's cool, too. :)

Ah, kind of. Mine's more of a reference to the content matter (language, adult situations).
As for costumes. Hmm. I dunno. I expect we're going to have to have some kind of ruling on that sort of thing, as looking back through hero-based TV and movies, there are a lot of Superman and Batman-looking outfits, but as far as I know, there haven't been any lawsuits.
But wasn't there one over the X-Men franchise? Was it against the Tim Allen movie "Zoom?"
The very end of the No Heroics trailer strangely reminds me of the Talks-To-God Sean Astin you showed us earlier on. Coincidence? No. They're both cool. It's a conspiracy of awesome.

I liked 'em both, overall, but I do favor the animated over the live-action, just because they could do more with it. The cartoon also had my favorite pun in the entire series when an avalanche of multiple-man "Santa Clauses" came pouring down a frozen river at The Tick who cried, "It's a Yule-Tide!!!"

I loved the animated series I think the live action version messed up the dynamic a bit. I mean in one ep they had the tick swear, and remaking Deflatermouse and American Maid like they did annoyed me. Though I did like the Hero/Sidekick dynamic they did in one ep.
PS sorry to be a bother but did you get my e-mail showing off my cyborg arm?
I do have some stories in mind for publication at some point, and I'm also seeing if I can't include a semi-crossover in ps238 (and it will make sense, I assure everyone). :)

A better display of Boris Johnson's internation credentials can be seen here in a pro-celebrity football match (rest of the world's football, not American) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWIUp19bBoA There is another copy bouncing round somewhere with the commentators' voiceovers, it's mostly laughter and complimenting his enthusiasm.
