Cathy has just by-passed phase one and two of immigration and in 2 weeks time (depending on how quickly they process our marriage license) will be a landed immigrunt (I like spelling it that way, hehe). Needless to say, about 6x amount of the world has been lifted of my shoulders....

Does that mean she'll be getting a PR card? If so, she likely won't get one for months. I'm sending out my application today....and if it weren't for the fact that I am sending a copy of my plane tickets to Europe along with the application, I probably wouldn't see my card for months too. As it is, I *still* may not see it for a long time.....

She probably is getting a PR card, and granted that will take a while. However the good note is that she will once again be covered under OHIP and have a SIN card again.
