Well, almost 3 years after starting the story I'm still currently working on, I've reached the second half of chapter 8. It turns out - although I really didn't expect it to take so many words - the second half of chapter 8 is where the smut comes in. The fic is crawling so slowly to the end it's agonising but I'm so determined to finish this year. I have maybe 6000 words to write and over 8 months to write them in. I'm sure even I can manage that!

Maybe if you just picked one of your WIPs that you're particularly fond of and focus on it for a bit. Your never know, you might manage to get the motivation to finish :)
