No, this does not mean I'm going to start spouting long monologues about the nature of the universe. I just wanted to show some solidarity with my brother-in-comic-geekdom warpsmith!
Was lucky enough to receive a link to a bunch of highly illegal scanned comics. Read issues 6-17 (I think it was 17...whatever issue that Moore's run ended). Now I just wish I could find the first 5 and Gaiman's run. Maybe in the year 2100, when the suit is finally settled, we'll get a collected trade.
It's probably one of the more inspired and, at the same time, unsettling comics out there. Alan Moore (while he does love to hear himself talk) has definately got a lot more going on than your average funny book writer. I was glad that I got to read the little bit that I did. Now I understand what all the hubbub is about.
Tell you what, old son: I'll lend them to you. All of them. I know that some of them are worth boatloads of money, but I don't care. I will lend them to anyone because I think it is such a travesty that no one is able to read the series due to that nasty spiteful jerk McFarlane. They are currently out on loan and on reserve for another person, but after that it's all you.
Don't worry, I will only eat slightly greasy pizza when I read them. Damn...are you sure you want to lend them out? I mean they're worth toooons of money!

Of course, I know what it is. Even though I ran it through the wringer in Photoshop, I thought it was still discernable...mebbee not.
