KiBum was too young, they said. He was only eighteen, how could he decide something so serious at that age?

HyukJae was just confused. He played soccer, came from a strictly Catholic family -- how could he possibly be gay?

But they didn't understand that love wasn't about age or gender or religion. HyukJae had a special way of reminding KiBum of this when things got too hard, when the criticism became too much to bear.

For every time they said it wouldn't last, HyukJae rewarded KiBum with a kiss to his throat. This usually led to much more, but KiBum was content with just that kiss. It was all the rassurance he needed and the doubts cast on him by those who would question what they had were shoved away. So long as HyukJae could still be so tender towards him, he knew he was loved.
