Uff-dah. It's the 40th anniversary of the White Album, and I just finished a post on the other blog about the song most likely to get panties moist. I haven't listened to the White Album in quite some time, but last week I started to feel sentimental for an album just released 4 years ago.
Listening to a couple of songs on this album are like having a religious experience. I haven't felt this way since the first time I heard the album version of "King's Crossing".
The Wise One reviewed the album, as only he could. I heard most of it on Tuesday...some of it is the best I've ever heard. I think "Catcher in the Rye" was my favorite.
I'm trying so hard not to listen to anymore until tomorrow.
I've been hearing Elliott's voice all over lately. There's a perfectly logical explanation for this. RJD2, whom I'm not too familiar with, but the cool kids seem to like, sampled him for the song "Ghostwriter". This song is all over, for some reason, being featured in commercials for cars, painkillers, and even the NBA.
