I generally don't like ranting about things I dislike (because ranting about things I like is just so much more fun). But. Unconditional Supernatural love just sets me off.

This site is wondering if Supernatural is as good as Buffy. And, um, no? A world of no, even. How can anyone even compare something as misogynistic and sexist as Supernatural ( Read more... )

And yeah. But I sort of have a hard time getting people who would put up with crap because of a hot actor in something? Like, it only took me five episodes of Tru Calling before I couldn't even stand the sight of Eliza Dushku. And I did watch the second season of "Dark Angel" almost entirely because of the hottness of Jensen Ackles. So it's not that I don't get that, but I never, ever would put up with this amount of crap for even the freaking Helen of Troy. :)

Well, to be fair, Cordelia left Angel because Charisma left Angel, not because they wanted to kill her character. Unlike Tara on Buffy, who was just killed so we could listen to Willow whine more, or whatever.

I don't like Supernatural either, but every time I go back and watch it, I realize a little more how little I like Buffy any more. Like, so many things about the show just make me really ANGRY. At least Angel still holds up for me...
