Maddy asked me what I thought of ep 5, but of course by the time I got around to answering her I had watched all the way up to 10, so I thought I would just give a rundown of the things that stuck out at me from 5-10.

Argh, so I had a huge reply to this typed out and then my internet ate it and died. *grumblegrumble* But anyway...

"Wait, you can read?" LOL!! I've seen some people complaining about Arthur and Merlin's friendship not being what it once was, but I think it's actually getting better, like they're more and more comfortable with each other all the time. Arthur never would have asked Merlin that in the first season, and possibly not even in the second ( ... )

I know! He respects Merlin's opinion so much more, actually asking him advice, but it's like his pride or whatever can't quite make him be totally friendly so he throws things and stuff to relieve his feelings. Like in 2.13, "I know I'm a prince, so we can't be friends, but if I wasn't a prince ( ... )
