[That's a voice she wasn't expecting to hear when she checked the journals today. It's a voice she hadn't thought she would hear again in a long time, a terrible long time, because as much faith as she can have in Goku? Not even Goku could break through that barrier. Not even Goku could beat those droids that came to take him to do whatever those crazy scientists that give a bad name to science itself wanted. She had seen it, she had found him being gone for days and then returned in a wrong body. She had seen him fall victim to those experiments and have his memories messed up. So if not even Goku was immune, if not even he could break the barrier and take them out of there, then all they could do was sit and wait to be sent back. For this nightmare to end and then, only then, they would be able to be with their friends again

Vegeta wasn't sure how he felt about having Bulma around-- the woman could barely take care of herself back home (when did Earth become "home"??), now he would have to watch out for her here. Doubtless, Kakarot would share the burden. It was still annoying.]

[The Hyperbolic Chamber? She can't remember if she has ever heard of that but it doesn't take much to know that it's related to training, what else do these boys do? Specially this one, training all day and all night, making her wonder even if he stops jumping, kicking and punching to get a bite of something that could be mistaken as foot. A man who just doesn't care about his own health or safety, how many times did he make the gravity machine explode no matter what safety measures they put on it? How many times had he caused a full blackout because he just ignored the limits of the machine? And now he's here. In a place where not even Goku is safe, why couldn't Vegeta be truly superior to Goku for once and stay home where he would be... Safe? At least she could think that he's the strongest after Goku and thus have a chance at anything that comes to him.]It could have been, if it wasn't because I've never set foot in that place and yet I'm here as well

[Now, see, if everyone else had just told him that even Kakarot couldn't break through... There's a thick silence while Vegeta processes everything he's been told so far: Bulma acting like she'd been there a while when, in his point of view, they weren't yet a day separated. A barrier locking them in that even his rival couldn't break through.

The idea that he, Vegeta, had been brought worlds away from Earth in the blink of an eye brought the rage boiling back, but it also brought to mind the one thing that could do it:]
