I have a crush on Eric Idle. This can't possibly be a good sign.

Budget reconciliation. I'm watching Bernie Sanders on Rachel Maddow. The fact that senators are talking about bringing back the public option - and possibly education funding - via budget reconciliation rules gives me hope for the future.

Just watched "The End of Time: Part One", which was the "Doctor Who" Christmas special. And may I say, Wow. The writing! The acting! The Master! ( The Spoiler! )

Just finished watching "Torchwood: Children of Earth." I really loved it, with the exception of the last five to ten minutes of the last episode. I dunno; wasn't quite up to the standard of the rest of it. Overall, though, some of the best television I've ever watched.

I guess I'm a "House" fan.

"Groomer Has It" is a very silly show. Even sillier than "Cake Boss."

"The Haunting of Hill House" (original version) was cool, but unsatisfying.

"Elizabeth" is a pretty good movie, even if the ending very much ripped off "The Godfather." Oh, and, of course, Christopher Eccleston is hot.

Andy Hallett died. He played Lorne on "Angel." I really liked him.
