Well, I've performed my civic obligation for the next three years. Jury duty. I'd been half hoping I would actually be on a jury (for a short trial, since I have plans for the evening), but it didn't happen. See, there were ten cases on the docket for today. I thought I'd been called for jury duty the other day, and was pretty excited about the whole experience... then I opened the letter, and it was just an open meeting with my MP.

Aw. Figures they wouldn't call the one person in the world who actually WANTS to do jury duty. ;0)

I know! Although having said that, I'd be a bit scared if I had to serve on a gruesome mureder case, or anything like that - I'm not able to watch a whole episode of CSI, so I don't know how I'd manage evidence... 'Would the jury please uncover their eyes, and stop squealing!'
