[Because you're using text with him, that's why. There's a noticeable delay as Allen just stares at those two words on his screen. There are times when he goes for text himself, even though (or because) it's so... Limiting. He's used to communicating in way more than words.]

he does deserve answers, you know. i'll be careful with what i tell him though.
