That's part of their egoic conceptualization; their ego makes them feel incomplete and inadequate without someone else. And when they are with someone, they still feel inadequate. The ego will always want more.

Ok, I know what this all about, Joey...ME. I know you talk about that "burning love" and that there is a person you are so badly "wanting to love"...and we all know, yes everyone knows...IT'S ME. And who can blame you? Like, even I'M in love with myself.
