It's that time again, event time!

For those not in the know, July 10th to the 24th is the Soledate event! I'm sure a bunch of you are excited to play this out!
What is Soledate? What’s going on here?
Soledate is a two week holiday in which it remains daytime, all day. There is no nighttime (and therefore no TENEKA) and most residents dance, have parties, and do a lot of other festive things in the meantime. Soledate is the holiday of the Queen, a celebration of the daytime, the beauty of nature, togetherness, and to show how peaceful and carefree the city is as a whole. The entire city will be decorated with banners and every kind of flower possible, with red, orange, yellow, and gold as the dominant colors. Muses are more than welcome to work out the premise behind the festival from locals and residents, in addition to the post made by the Queen.
Does Soledate have any special rules?
The rules for living stay the same, but people are allowed to change a few things here and there. Masks are still required to be worn, however! Characters are allowed to add parts to it or take away, so long as they still wear it. Soledate is a time of celebration, and the people don't want to be weighed down by heavy masks if they can help it. There are vendors on the streets (and advertisements on the PORTALs) with mask ideas that your characters can pick from, if they need help.
Your character can find their own set of festivity clothes in their closet if they look. These special clothes are in whatever style or form your character would prefer, tailored in the Soledate palette. Whether or not they decide to wear it is entirely up to them; they are not mandatory to wear!
What goes on regularly that my character will see?
☼ On the streets, you’ll find residents talking with others, dancing in groups to music being played by both old and young people alike, and others gathering together to tell stories. You have have your muse listen in, or tell their own story to the children of the city.
☼ There will be many people handing out flowers, bouquets, and floral crowns to passers by, planting new flora and playing games. If your character happens to be walking by, feel free to assume they were given one to make their experience a bit more memorable.
☼ The center of the festivities can be found outside of the palace walls, being held by the Queen herself as she walks around in broad daylight and talks with everyone there. She will lead the people into activities such as dancing, the crowning of a “Master of Ceremonies” (in which all characters are invited to partake and try to get the spot), as well as a couple who will be decided as the “King and Queen of Soledate”. The couple will get to spend a few days within the palace and live like royalty once chosen, as well as aid the Queen in making decisions for the celebration. She’ll tend to favor them in the future, as well. The Master of Ceremonies is graced with spending their time by the Queen’s side and getting to know her. Hand-picked by the Queen, they will be in her favor in the future and will receive a gift from her at the end of the holiday. Queen Valrune has announced this here.
☼ A lot of folk will encourage feelings of friendship, love, and togetherness throughout the two weeks. Vendors will have gifts for whoever wishes to get one and give it to another, be it for a romantic purpose or otherwise. As to what they are, be creative!
Most of all, Soledate is for partying and having fun! Of course, not everyone will be up for that and want to cause mischief, so if this is the case, please be advised that the guards will be on a lookout for anything that could be potentially dangerous! Pranks are allowed by the guards, so long as no one is severely hurt in the matter. If you have an idea that involves disruption or aiming to ruin the festivities, please run it by the mods first so we can decide how it will be handled accordingly.

We'll be putting up a mingle post (now located here to give everyone a chance for some fun and CR! The various events happening throughout the city, from outdoor plays to music to bonfires, will each have their own threads for people to tag under. There will, as usual, also be location threads.
