Wow, let me get this straight: Sorgi is from Wisconsin (my dad did tell me that), he wears #12 and he's born a day after Aaron? Whoa, cool.

I'd say all the cool kids wore #12, but then I'd be complimenting Tom Brady, so perhaps not. :)

Also that is kinda awesome (even if he was a bit less than awesome). Was he playing a concert or did you just randomly run into him at a bar or something?

He was playing a concert at The Empty Bottle. He made an alt rock album and I actually really liked it, so a friend and I went to see him. In retrospect, he wasn't as great as I thought he was- my opinion was probably influenced more by the fact that I was amused with the man at the time than by actual talent.

Sometimes this happens. Currently, for instance, I am just in love with Number One Gun and they are still my default CD in my car... but someday I may decide they just weren't as great as I thought they were. I hope not though. I want to see them stand the test of time and feel like I discovered some awesome, if obscure, music ....and not that they just reminded me of a #12 :)
