Look, if Santa Claus was real, which I highly doubt, I don't think nuclear missiles would take him down. Even if there was a risk, if he can fly fast enough to travel the globe in a night he can probably escape to somewhere the nukes wouldn't reach. Not to mention the whole magic aspect.
