It was a flute--a musical instrument of the woodwind section.

[Edgeworth has long since replaced the flute in the box, but he removes it again to present it. It's silver, though slightly tarnished from wherever it was dug up from, and the box is clearly not the original, but it makes a beautiful sound regardless of aesthetics.]

I may have mentioned my interest in it to my employers.
