You're not the only one, and yet it's difficult not to believe when presented with the self-evident facts that surround you.

Facts that they made up. This isn't the first time-- there's another place that pulls people and then traps them. Just not as big as here.

At least that place doesn't insist that our memories weren't real.

Another place? Are you certain you did not dream it?

It couldn't have been a dream-- I still have marks from there. A scar. I mean-- Boston? I only heard the name there. There wasn't a place like that where I'm from. We didn't have nations or states or anything like that.

It's not a dream. My memories, my parents, my friends-- they're real.

I don't think any of us knows what this place is, either, except from what we've been told. The facts about the town and the world outside seem to be true, but as for the rest...we really don't know.

[Wow, accent! He's never heard an accent that-- oh, wait, he has. It'll still take him a moment, though.]

Same dreams... for the people who come from the same place, then? I'm just sure they're not dreams. More than a little too vivid and complicated to be dreams.

Not even magic? That was what we figured with the last place... I mean, the SE systems really suspicious.
