People did get hurt by the scary rain... I hope I don't if it happens again, it would hurt lots.

It's because of pollution, right? And it ruins statues? This is a lot worse! Rain is supposed to be something that gives life... not death.

But most of the people who died, died of direct exposure. Should we be angry that someone pointed out that they caused their own deaths? They had been warned explicitly about the effects of the rain, after all.
[Not so much the fate of those who didn't believe, but the fate of those who didn't listen. The idea of superiority, Ami could agree with. The idea that it was tied to faith of some kind?...Not so much.]
