And, because I'm really reading the post now, is it each icon must conform to the qualities in the list or just one icon in the set has to have one of each? (Does that make any sense?)

Friday night is gunshou's crack-smoking night, sorry. She means that one icon icon must be hush, one must be b&w, and so on.

Is it just one restriction per icon? So it's one hush, another in black and white, and so on?

Whoa, don't worry--your college apps are definitely the priority! Like gunshou said, if you need more time, just let us know.

oh dear. five icons.
Well, the thing is, my computer has recently died on me. There's no way I can icon without the program and all my brushes and resources. I'll definitely try to get it fixed, but there's a high chance I won't make it in time.
So, I truly apologise if I have to pull out at this stage of the competition.

Well, the 18th is coming up fast, & gunshou will be away after that, so there's a good chance we'll end up extending into early January anyway.

In any case, so sorry about your computer!

I'm wondering, for the 4th category, are we allowed to use any kind of art, or just animated/manga/game things?

I am so sorry I didn't respond to this sooner! You mean, can you use fine art? I don't see why that would be a problem. You can use art from a comic book, so line drawings are fine, paintings are probably fine too. Sculpture might be a bit too different from what we intended . . .

But since I'm only answering this a few days before the deadline (!!!), I'm inclined to be flexible.
