Ooh, have fun on your trip! XD

I don't see any reason to disqualify you, don't worry. And there *is* no next round--this is the round that determines the winner. So no worries about that, either. ^^

question! (a little late in the game, but...) is it okay if, in the object/animal icon, i also include a person, provided they are not the icon's focus? (my theme is mostly people-oriented, so i'm having a hard time fitting that particular icon to it. ^^; i can still change themes (i've been trying to include a few sub-themes in the icons i've made so far, just in case) but i'm kind of fond of the one i'm working with now, so would rather not, if at all possible. ^^

Oh, definitely, if your theme is people-oriented! It's like the b&w icon, if you're using a color as your unifying theme: you'd adapt the b&w and do a selective color icon. ^^

I'm guessing no but for the "real person" icon, can our text just refer to real people? I can't find any pictures of who I need to icon so it's getting to be a pain. XD;;

Oh, never mind. I found something that will work for the second set I made in case something like this happened. XD

Geez I suck. Do music notes count as text (hush icon)?

LOL, no, of course not! Use as many as you want. ^^

And I'm glad you found a picture you could use.

Theme: Sightless/Blind (icons cropped so eyes don't show!)

*smacks you for the blanket icon*

I'm not going to DQ it; I'll see what mod2 thinks when she gets back from vacation. ^.~ (Although technically, you could use an animal for your object icon, & crop it so its eyes don't show. But a blanket *is* an object, & I can see how your theme would make that one challenging.)

Psst: There's a typo ("lonliness" vs. "loneliness") on the object icon.

i tried the animal thing, actually, and maybe it's just me, but eyeless animals are really creepy. so i decided to try and go with an actual object, which should not have been as difficult as it was. (i exhausted all of my screenshot folders, and when that failed made new screenshots, and still all i had was a lousy blanket. and a camera!) but we'll see what gunshou says. ^^

gahh, i know i'm being really annoying and everything, but the blanket thing was driving me crazy, so i re-did the Object icon. (it's now an animal-themed one.) there's still a person present, but i think it's better than a blanket, at least. *cries*
