I've completed Project X's logic library to my satisfaction, and have begun to figure out how the UI's gonna work. All my recent game-UI experience has involved working with raw SVG directives, so it's interesting to approach a modern high-level game programming API with that oddball background. I'm moving too and we're having a few people go through the apartments. Our landlord is pretty good at giving us notice but my roommates don't always tell me the landlord called and is showing the place. I did at least take down a couple pictures of furry art that were of questionable nature. I left up the snake and rat picture though.

I actually kinda miss my old phone at times. It had a louder ring and the text messaging interface was a bit nicer. I can't really use it because it is a TDMA phone and the service I have has switched fully to GSM.

Examples of goofiness: I have to press the '1' key 13 times in order to get a '1'.
It has a built-in dictionary which I can add words to but there seems to be no way to remove accidental additions such as 'teh'.

A friend I know may have had a similar problem with his phone because he too had to squeeze very hard in order to use it.

In my case there were various objects of a strangers-don't-need-to-see-that nature mixed in with the ungodly clutter in my room, which I didn't really notice until yesterday. When I did, I said "Well, that is somewhat embarrassing" out loud to nobody. And then I did indeed spend a couple of hours tidying up. Hopeful that the folks who tromp through today will be the last.

I am so duh about mobile tech I don't even know what those acronyms mean, offhand.
