I have shifted  through time again and  I have found another frozen "Me ." It is the 9th of February. The temporal issues here are mind numbing, but I found myself writing and slipping into my open log, the note about being becalmed. I have concluded that I am neither dead nor insane. I hold in my hands a piece of xenotechnology that is clearly much more than my term chronometer would imply. Somehow when I first activated it here in my lab, it laid down a "tether" to this spot. So hard to describe what has transpired. The Tesla bolt flew up the ray as if following a corridor to the other ship, then  loosed an explosion as never seen by man-blinding -molten.
