Well, to be honest I was not even excited about going to see The Dark Knight Rises because the trailers made it all just look like a retread of S.W.A.T. or some brainless, heartless shoot-em-up with armored cars. I was SO WRONG. It was quite engaging, even affecting, in spite of some jumbly bits that made it obvious Nolan had really wanted to tell
