Well, to be honest I was not even excited about going to see The Dark Knight Rises because the trailers made it all just look like a retread of S.W.A.T. or some brainless, heartless shoot-em-up with armored cars. The Profunditeer formerly known as monarchprime went to see Stephen King's The Mist today. I have waited 20 years for this movie to be made to see things on-screen that captivated and creeped me out when in print. A lot of my sensibilities when it comes to horror movies and comcsics and gaming owe much to the original novella.
