As I was headed to work this morning, I was rear-ended by a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The back right bumper of my car is demolished (literally, it shattered) but I drove away from the accident while the owner of the Jeep was still waiting for a tow truck. The other driver was maybe 18, and not a jerk at all thankfully. Turns out she was following the truck that was in front of me, so they both pulled over. (That really confused me at first because I was certain I hadn't hit the truck, so I couldn't figure out why he pulled over.)
No real fuss, all things considered. I made sure no one was hurt and then called for a cruiser to come out. (There was enough damage that I wanted an accident report for my insurance company. I thought about just swapping insurance information, but I figured it was better to be safe than sorry when part of the car shattered:)

I think when you call the Mini dealer they'd probably _love_ to know how well the car stood up to the accident, though.
