Hooray for German Engineering
As I was headed to work this morning, I was rear-ended by a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The back right bumper of my car is demolished (literally, it shattered) but I drove away from the accident while the owner of the Jeep was still waiting for a tow truck. Considering the fact that the Jeep outweighs the Mini by approximately 2000 lbs, this can only be considered a triumph of German Engineering.
Now I guess I need to call the Mini dealer and let them know that the appointment I made to get a small coolant leak looked at just got a bit more complicated.
