I hope you enjoyed reading the articles - the issue of women in movies has been interesting me a lot lately - the response to the popularity of Mamma Mia! for one thing.

I have recently become aware to the portrayal of women in the movies/books and the need for a strong female role-model.

I would definitely watch Wonder Woman, even though I have never read her comic books [besides JLA].

I think I've always been aware of it, but it's becoming more and more of a conscious issue. I don't know much about Wonder Woman either beyond the facts of her existence - I don't read comics and I'm the wrong age for the TV show, but I would have been there on the first day to see Joss Whedon's interpretation, and I'd still go and see it with someone else at the held. Probably.
