I've received confirmation that Smallville season 4 is to air on Channel 4 'some time in the spring'. Although it's nice to have the confirmation that I will finally be able to watch it (JAckles, resolution to the s3 "cliffhanger"), and not have to fork out for the DVD or get the library to order it, that's ridiculously vague. We've just been squeeing about Matthew Goode at obasc. I loved him in 'My Family & Other Animals' over Christmas and now have to make a point of watching his future work. He reminds me of a modern day Michael Redgrave.

Just been over there and seen the pictures. And squee. And mmm. I do think, despite the shallow that he may be one to watch, though all I have to back that up is managing to be charismatic in a tweenie film. Still, it's heartening that he's been getting more work.

I want to live in the UK. It's so unfair, really. I wish I would get to see Jensen on Smallville. Yes, you heard right, I would make myself watch Smallville just for him. And I would so love to see my Inspector Lynley again!!! Is he on DVD? I don't know what this stupid channel here does. Each time a series really hits it off, they cancel the show. Stupid, stupid TV people.

Oh, but the spoilers for Batman sound intriguing! However, my hopes are rather high for X3. Please make it good! As long as there's no 'Fantastic 4' sequel and I don't have to watch the same expression on Alba's face for 100 minutes, we're good. :)

I can say nothing, I want to see Smallville for itself, though I suspect it may be the influence of the colours, because I was cross with over half the characters most of season 3.

I think Lynley is on DVD, though I don't know how many episodes.

I don't know what this stupid channel here does. Each time a series really hits it off, they cancel the show. Stupid, stupid TV people. The UK schedulers are more of the 'put show on at a random time, then act surprised when it doesn't hit off variety'. Actually, that's unfair, niche digital channels are better than they were.

Yeah, Nolan seems to be being allowed to follow a similar blueprint for casting as in Begins, and why not, it worked there. Apart, maybe, for Katie Holmes.
